Etosha Village Layout Plan
Etosha Village has been designed based on a typical Namibian Rural Village or Ovambo Stat. On arrival guests are welcomed at two rondavels (African-style huts usually found in traditional villages) which symbolises open friendliness, thus welcoming to everyone. The one rondavel hosts the reception area and the other the 'One Stop Cuca Shop' which sells from meats to curios to mobile phone airtime.
The restaurant has been divided into three areas where traditionally one area is dedicated to men, one to women and the other for the older people and children. Although we have the three different dining areas at our restaurant, families can dine together (definitely not split into gender groups) in the area that they prefer.
Adjacent to the restaurant area, another rondavel serves as a unique open-plan bar complete with seating created out of recycled material. The bar area has a cosy fireplace for cold winter evenings and a big screen television where, if you like, sports and nature programs can be watched whilst enjoying your refreshments.
Etosha Village's two swimming pools and kiddie pool is a welcoming refreshment for young and old.
Please feel free to specify your choice of room when placing your reservation. Also please mention whether you prefer 'secluded in nature' or 'closer by'. The secluded units are ideal for the real African Bush feel for self-caterers.
